What to pack for your upcoming glamping holiday!

That staycation you have been looking forward to is suddenly this weekend, and you haven’t even thought about what to pack. While we are sure you don’t need to be told to bring your toothbrush or an extortionate amount of knickers, (just in case) this list is more for those little things that might slip your mind but could be really handy to have with you!

While a few of them might seem weather dependant many of these of items we would advise bringing them no matter the time of year or what the weather forecast says! A bobble hat in summer? Yes. Your ears might get chilly while you star gaze from your hot tub!

Must bring:

  • A torch, lantern, or head torch
We are lucky to be in a dark skies area meaning light pollution must be kept to a minimum, we have low outdoor lighting for this reason.
  • Extra layers and a waterproof jacket
Being in the Yorkshire Dales occasionally we experience all 4 seasons in 1 day, so it’s best to be prepared.
  • Suncream
When the sun’s out, the glamping patios are a real suntrap!
  • Swimsuits You don’t want to miss out on using the hot tub!

A good idea to bring:

  • Extra towels for the hot tub. 1 per person provided.
  • Wellies or walking boots
  • Food and drink or order one of our food packs to make it even easier.
  • Slippers/flip flops
  • A bobble hat

Nice to bring:

  • A book
  • A game or deck of cards
  • A robe for extra comfort

Most importantly don’t forget to bring your sense of adventure because you’re in for an unforgettable glamping experience when you stay at Catgill Farm!

If you haven’t booked yet, don’t miss out!
